Pallikkudiyiruppu is resettlement village rising from the ravages of war. While the rest of the village has relatively developed since the war times the 7.2km long main road that runs throught the village remains forgotten for more than 50 years, avail the villagers of Pallikkudiyiruppu. This road in a highly damaged condition post difficulties to the villagers in their day to day activities when going for employment, sending their children to school and even at times of emergencies such as reaching the hospital in the town. According to the villagers 12 million worth funds were allocated for the reconstruction of the road but they suspect of a fraudulent activity concerning its suspension. Several protests were also staged by the villagers demanding a solution for this issue but so far their call has not been answered. They continue to urge the relevant authorities to intervene and initiate the reconstruction of their road that was robbed.

Ramana Priya, a young mobile storyteller trained under the "Mobile Storytelling" program launched by SDJF in collaboration with iVoice and Neelan Thiruchelvam Trust (NTT) wants the authorities to look into this matter and to do justice to the people of Pallikkudiyiruppu.
