ශ්රී ලංකාවේ වෙබ් මාධ්යකරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් ආචාරධර්ම සංග්රහයක් සම්පාදනය කිරීමට වෘත්තීය වෙබ් මාධ්යවේදීන්ගේ සංගමය පියවර ගත්තා. වෙබ් මාධ්යවලට ආචාරධර්ම සංග්රහයක අවශ්යතාව පැන නැගුණේ වෙබ් මාධ්යකරුවන්ගේ අනන්යතාව පිළිබඳ ප්රශ්නයක් සමග බවයි, 2018 පෙබරවාරි 01දා ශ්රී ලංකා ගුවන් විදුලි සංස්ථාවේ වෙළඳ සේවයේ සාරප්රභාගිර වැඩසටහන සමග එක් වෙමින් සමබිම වෙබ් අඩවියේ සංස්කාරක නීතිඥ ප්රබෝධ රත්නායක පැවසුවේ.
“අන්තර්ජාලය තුළ ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට වෙබ් අඩවියක් පිහිටුවා ගන්නට පුළුවන්. ඒ වගේ ම, ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට ෆේස්බුක්, ට්විටර්, යූටියුබ්, ඉන්ස්ටග්රෑම් වැනි සමාජ මාධ්ය භාවිතා කරමින් අදහස් ප්රකාශනයේ යෙදෙන්නටත් පුළුවන්. ඒත්, එසේ කරන සෑම කෙනෙකු ම වෙබ් මාධ්යකරුවකු වන්නේ නැහැ. මේ අන්දමින් වෙබ් පාදක කරගෙන මාධ්යකරණයේ යෙදෙන කොටස් තුනක් දැකිය හැකියි. එ් මෙසේයි:
වෘත්තීය වෙබ් මාධ්යකරුවකු වන්නේ ශික්ෂණයකින් හා වගකීමකින් යුක්තව මාධ්යකරණයේ යෙදෙන කෙනෙක්. එවැනි අයට වෘත්තීය මට්ටමෙන්, වගකීමකින් යුක්තව මාධ්යකරණයේ යෙදෙන්නට අවශ්ය මාර්ගෝපදේශනයක් තමයි මෙමගින් සපයනු ලබන්නේ."
වෙබ් මාධ්යකරුවන් සතු විය යුතු වෘත්තිකභාවය හා ශික්ෂණය පිළිබඳ අදහස් දක්වමින් වෘත්තීය වෙබ් මාධ්යවේදීන්ගේ සංගමයේ ලේකම් හා ශ්රී ලංකා මිරර් වෙබ් අඩවියේ සංස්කාරක කැලුම් ශිවන්ත පැවසුවේ බොහෝ අය වෙබ් මාධ්ය ඉතා පහසුවෙන් කළ හැකි දෙයක් හා විශාල වශයෙන් මුදල් ඉපැයිය හැකි කර්මාන්තයක් ලෙස සලකන බවයි.
“ජනමාධ්ය අමාත්යාංශයේ ලියාපදිංචි වූ ප්රවෘත්ති වෙබ් අඩවි 170ක් පමණ තිබෙනවා. එහෙත්, ඒ අතරින් ලියාපදිංචිය අලුත් කරන ඒවා තිබෙන්නේ සුළු සංඛ්යාවයි. බොහෝ අය මෙමගින් විශාල වශයෙන් මුදල් ඉපැයිය හැකි බවට මිථ්යාවක ගිලී සිටිනවා. එහෙත්, වෘත්තීය මට්ටමෙන් වෙබ් අඩවියක් පවත්වාගෙන යාම ලෙහෙසි නැහැ."
වෘත්තීය වෙබ් මාධ්යවේදීන් වෙනුවෙන් සංගමයක් පිහිටුවන්නට ඔවුන් උනන්දු වූයේ පසුගිය වකවානුවේදී ඇතැම් වෙබ් අඩවි දේශීය වශයෙන් වාර්ණය කරන්නට රජය විසින් පියවර ගැනීම නිසායි.
“ප්රවෘත්ති මාධ්ය, වෙබ් අඩවි ආදිය වාරණය කිරීමට අප එකඟ නැහැ. එහෙත්, එවැනි වාරණයන් පැනවීම සාධාරණීකරණය වන තැනට බලධාරීන් තල්ලු නො කිරීම වෙබ් මාධ්යකරුවන්ගේ වගකීමක්. එහිදී යම් ප්රමාණයක ස්වයං වාරණයක් ද අවශ්යයි," යි ප්රබෝධ රත්නායක පවසනවා.
වෙබ් අඩවිවල පළ වන කරුණු හේතුවෙන් තමන් අගතියට පත් වන බවට චෝදනා එල්ල කළ අය අතර රටේ ඉහළ ම ප්රභූන් ද සිටිනවා. එවැනි අගතීන් සිදු නො වීමටත්, සමබර වාර්තාකරණයටත්, පිළිතුරු දීමේ අයිතිය, වගවීම වැනි කාරණාවලදීත් මාධ්ය ආචාර ධර්ම පද්ධතිය ඉතා වැදගත්.
“වාර්තාකරණයේ ගුණාත්මකභාවය පිළිබඳ අඩුපාඩු බොහොමයක් සිදු වීම ආරම්භ වුණේ වෙබ් මාධ්යවලිනුයි. එහෙත්, අද වන විට වෙබ් මාධ්යකරුවන් ආචාරධර්ම සංග්රයක වැදගත්කම අවබෝධ කරගෙන සිටිනවා. එහෙම තියෙද්දී, ප්රධාන ධාරාවේ මාධ්ය වෙබ් මාධ්යවල දුර්ගුණ අනුකරණය කරන ලක්ෂණයක් ද දකින්නට ලැබෙනවා," යි කැලුම් ශිවන්ත පෙන්වා දෙනවා.
කෙසේ වෙතත්, අද වන විට නව මාධ්ය හා සම්ප්රදායික මාධ්ය අතර වෙනස්කම් නැති වෙමින් තිබෙනවා. සියලු මාධ්යවලට මෙන් ම පොදුවේ සියලු පුරවැසියන්ටත් ආචාරධර්ම අවශ්යයි. වෙබ් මාධ්ය ආචාරධර්ම පද්ධතිය සංවර්ධනය කිරීම ශ්රී ලංකාවේ සමාජ සංවර්ධනයේ වැදගත් පියවරක් ලෙස සලකන්නට පුළුවන්.

iVoice Idea Competition
iVoice is an online platform that encourages youth to discuss social issues and to drive innovative solutions. The platform features stories relating to social issues in Sri Lanka, which are submitted by iVoice contributors and the general public.
The objective of the iVoice Idea Competition is to encourage youth to play a participatory role in solving social issues. After reading a story featured on iVoice, youth can submit their ‘idea’ to help to address the social issue that is highlighted in the story. The ten best ideas will receive seed capital of Rs. 100,000/- each, and mentoring, to support in implementing their ideas.
The majority of articles featured on iVoice relate to a social issue. These stories have a ‘Submit Your Idea’ button at the end of the article, inviting youth to share their innovative ideas on how to address these social issues.
Submitted ideas must be innovative and unique. The ideas must also be practical and implementable by 31 December 2017.
The deadline for submitting an idea is 3 September 2017.
To submit an idea, the following details must be provided through the online form:
Note: Participants can submit any number of ideas; however, only one idea per article is permitted.
Ideas will be evaluated through a competitive process.
03 Sept 2017: Closing of submissions at 23:59 on 3 September 2017
06 Sept 2017: Shortlisting of 20 ideas
13 Sept 2017: Shortlisted applicants to present their ideas in further detail to the judging panel
21 Sept 2017: The ten winning ideas will be announced at the Award Ceremony at which Rs. 100,000/- seed capital will be granted to each of the winning applicants
Evaluation criteria includes creativity of the proposed idea to address the given social issue, and feasibility of implementation within the stipulated budget and timeframe.
The number of votes received per idea will not be a deciding factor.
The judging panel’s decision will be final.
